It’s often assumed that scions of business families would naturally take up the reins of the company. While many youngsters have defied this assumption and crafted their own path, Parle Agro’s joint MD Nadia Chauhan was bitten by the business bug since childhood, thanks to her father and Parle Agro chairman Prakash Chauhan.



Turns out, Nadia spent a lot of time at her dad’s office, and more so during weekends and holidays. “I was my dad’s favourite guinea pig. Growing up, I tried various products that he could develop,” she told a business magazine. It wasn’t just to indulge the little one either — she used to have her own little space in Chauhan’s cabin too.
