How Does Strength Training Cause You To Lose Weight?
According to Mayo Clinic, strength training doesn;t only support weight loss, but also increases muscle mass - which declines with age and also strengthens bones.
Additionally, strength training could benefit you:
Build sturdy bones. Strength training preserves bone health and may reduce the chance of osteoporosis by putting stress on your bones.
Control your weight. You can control your weight and enhance your body composition with strength exercise. You may burn more calories as a result.
Improve your standard of living. Strength training can reduce the risk of falls, enhance physical function, and maintain balance. It might help shield your joints from harm and enhance your capacity to do daily tasks. As you get older, this can help you maintain your independence.
Control a few long-term illnesses. In certain chronic illnesses, strength training may help alleviate joint discomfort and enhance symptoms, function, or general health. Heart disease, diabetes, depression, anxiety, and arthritis are a few examples.
