This weekend’s streaming lineup on Netflix has something for every kind of binge-watcher. From gritty crime thrillers and emotionally messy family dramas to stylish heists and action-packed sequels, the platform is packed with fresh titles that promise suspense, drama and entertainment. One of the biggest highlights is Kartavya, which marks Saif Ali Khan’s return to the crime-thriller genre. Meanwhile, fans of international dramas and heist stories also have plenty to look forward to this week.

Kartavya
Kartavya brings Saif Ali Khan back into dark and intense territory with a story that revolves around duty, guilt and strained family relationships. The actor appears in the role of a tough police officer, sporting a bruised and rugged look in the first poster unveiled online.


The announcement was made by Shah Rukh Khan, who hinted that the story would revolve around difficult choices and emotional conflicts. Paraphrasing his message, SRK suggested that every decision in the world of Kartavya comes with consequences and challenges. Produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, the series also stars Rasika Dugal, Sanjay Mishra and Zakir Hussain in key roles. The crime drama started streaming on Netflix from May 15.



Between Father and Son
Between Father and Son is a tense family thriller created by Pablo Illanes. The series follows Regina, a successful lawyer whose life takes an unexpected turn during a visit to her fiancé’s family estate.

As the story unfolds, buried secrets, betrayal and emotional manipulation slowly begin to surface inside the household. The drama also explores forbidden attraction and fractured relationships, turning what first appears to be a normal family gathering into a dangerous psychological game. The show began streaming on Netflix on May 13.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge
Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, has now arrived on Netflix for international audiences. Interestingly, the OTT release features a “raw and uncut” version that was not shown in Indian theatres. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the action drama Dhurandhar 2 enjoyed a successful theatrical run before making its digital debut overseas. Netflix announced that the film is currently streaming in the US and Canada, while Indian viewers are still waiting for details about its domestic OTT release.

The sequel has continued the popularity of the Dhurandhar franchise and reportedly crossed the Rs 3000 crore mark worldwide, making it one of the biggest commercial successes in recent times.

Nemesis
Nemesis is another crime drama arriving on Netflix this week. Set in Los Angeles, the psychological thriller follows Detective Isaiah Stiles, played by Matthew Law, as he hunts down master thief Coltrane Wilder, portrayed by Y'lan Noel.

Created by Courtney A. Kemp, the series explores obsession, morality and revenge as the rivalry between the detective and the thief becomes increasingly personal. The show promises stylish visuals, tense storytelling and a layered cat-and-mouse chase.

Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine
Fans of Money Heist spin-offs can finally return to the world of Berlin with Berlin season 2, titled Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine.

Pedro Alonso reprises his role as the charming mastermind who plans another ambitious robbery, this time involving Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting The Lady with an Ermine. However, the heist is reportedly only part of a larger revenge mission involving the Duke and Duchess of Málaga.

The new season premiered on Netflix on May 15 and is expected to continue the stylish mix of suspense, romance and chaos that made the original series popular worldwide. Stay tuned!
