1. Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story

Ryan Murphy’s latest Monster season takes viewers back to the infamous 1892 murders of Andrew and Abby Borden in Fall River, Massachusetts. Ella Beatty plays Lizzie Borden, who was accused of killing her father and stepmother but was acquitted at trial. The series has generated discussion over how much of its story is based on historical evidence. Entertainment Weekly noted that the real case remains unresolved despite Borden’s acquittal in 1893. 2. Crew Girl

The eight-episode YA drama follows Teagan Tao, a talented teenage rower whose plans are disrupted after her family is forced to relocate to Massachusetts.
