‘My parents didn't raise me to take advantage of people.’ Nora Fatehi shares cryptic post after suing Jacqueline Fernandez
On Monday, Fatehi filed a defamation suit against Fernandez in the Rs 200cr money-laundering case.

In her Instagram Stories, Fatehi stated that she was not raised to take advantage of people adding that her intentions will always be pure. “My parents didn’t raise me to take advantage of people, my intentions will always be pure. We ain’t the same,” read the post by Nora. While she has not implicitly mentioned Fernandez, many have assumed that the post is a veiled attack on the 'Race 2' actress.

Fernandez who appeared before the Patiala House Court on December 12, has not made any posts or comments regarding the case or Fatehi.
Fatehi, in her plea, alleged that Fernandez sought to criminally defame her in order to destroy her career to further her own interests as they both are working in the same industry. According to the charge sheet filed by the ED, Chandrashekhar had gifted a BMW car to Fatehi in December 2020 and also gave her Rs 75 lakh and some expensive gifts.
After the defamation lawsuit, Fernandez’s lawyer Prashant Patil dismissed the allegations made by Fatehi. The lawyer stated that Fernandez never sought to defame Fatehi and that she was yet to receive an official copy of the defamation suit. Patil went on to say that Fernandez has the utmost respect for Fatehi and that if she is dragged into the case then she will have no choice but to respond accordingly.
