Mrunal Thakur, Huma Qureshi's 'adult only' movie Pooja Meri Jaan set for OTT release: When and where to watch it online

After waiting for nearly four years, Pooja Meri Jaan is all set to reach audience through an OTT platform. The thriller, featuring Mrunal Thakur and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles, was completed in 2022 but remained unreleased for a long time. The film has now found a new route to audiences. Now, the movie is all set for digital debut.

Pooja Meri Jaan will premiere directly on ZEE5 on October 2, 2026. The film was originally planned for a theatrical release but was later moved to the digital space. It has received an A certificate from the censor board, making it an adults-only title, according to the trailer. The movie is also said to have a runtime of under two hours.

The movie revolves around Mrunal Thakur's character Pooja, whose life changes following the passing of her lover, Aniket. What at first seems to be a personal tragedy quickly gets more complicated into as suspicion, allegations, and questions start to surround those involved in the case.




Pooja finds herself in a difficult situation where it is challenging to differentiate between assumptions and reality. As the plot develops, the characters must cope with the fallout from people's perceptions of them and how those perceptions can easily become condemnations.

Huma Qureshi essays the role of Sana, a lawyer and Pooja's close friend. Sana becomes involved in the circumstances surrounding Aniket's death and attempts to help Pooja navigate the complicated situation. Her character is expected to play an important role as the mystery begins to unfold.

The film goes beyond simply investigating a death. It also touches upon themes of obsession, suspicion, accusations and prejudice. The story looks at how one incident can change the way people see an individual and how quickly an assumption can influence public perception.
