'Most relationships are habits': Cred boss's words of wisdom will make you reflect on life

They say, "Your habits make you." And, Cred founder Kunal Shah completely agrees with the same.

In his recent social media post during the weekend, the serial entrepreneur shared the importance of habits in an individual's life.

"You are your habits," he wrote in his post.


Shah is in accordance with English poet John Dryden, whose words describe his post the best - "We first make our habits, and then our habits make us."

Reflecting on habits that are capable of defining people, the entrepreneur-turned-investor said that life events, traumas and even one's company can help form habits. These habits ultimately define the person's real personality.

The 43-year-old even mentioned that 'most relationships' are and become habits which could be one of the reasons why they are hard to break.

In short, habits - good or bad - are the best parameter for self-reflection.

"Most self-crafted habits usually replace an existing habit. Habits are hard to break as it involves meeting yourself," he added.

During the weekend, the Freecharge founder also shared his views on the link between desire and manipulation. He said that people who desire instant wealth or instant fame can be easily manipulated.


When a user explained this concept of 'discipline of desire', Shah responded with the witty 'recipe for happiness'.
