However, the makers have not officially announced the film's OTT premiere date. Viewers will have to wait for an official confirmation about when they can watch the fantasy comedy from home.

Mookuthi Amman 2 opened to a modest response at the box office. According to Sacnilk.com, the film collected Rs 1.88 crore net in India on its opening day, according to the figures mentioned in the report. Its domestic gross collection stood at Rs 2.15 crore.

The film recorded 2,127 shows across its Tamil and Telugu versions, with an average collection of Rs 8,839 per show, according to Sacnilk. The Tamil version contributed most of the opening-day business, while the Telugu version made a smaller contribution.

The film arrived in cinemas with expectations, given the popularity of its predecessor and Nayanthara's return as the titular goddess. However, its opening-day numbers were relatively modest.
