Hanuman Ansh OTT release and platform confirmed: When and where to watch Neem Karoli Baba's highest-grossing biopic movie online

After a strong run at the box office, Hanuman Ansh is finally arriving on the OTT platform. Even with the competition from the latest releases such as Jailer 2 and Drishyam 3, the devotional drama continued to attract theatre audiences. The movie, which debuted in theatres on August 7, 2026, is based on the spiritual teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known as Maharaj Ji. Now, the makers have announced the digital release date of Hanuman Ansh.

Streaming details of Hanuman Ansh

On Friday (November 6), the makers confirmed that Hanuman Ansh will stream online on Sony LIV from November 27 onwards. The streaming platform announced the release date on social media, along with a caption which states, "Not just a story, but a journey of faith, devotion, and miracles that touched a billion hearts. Watch the most loved film of the year - Hanuman Ansh, arriving on 27th Nov only on Sony LIV #SitaRam."

Hanuman Ansh box office report

According to figures shared by Sacnilk, Hanuman Ansh has collected Rs 342.44 crore net in India, while its worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 452.86 crore. The film had a rather slow start at the box office and was even written off after its first two weeks in theatres. It opened with just Rs 10 lakh and managed to earn barely Rs 1.50 crore during its first fortnight. However, positive word of mouth soon changed its fortunes, leading to a sharp rise in ticket sales. From its fourth week onwards, the film collected more than Rs 60 crore net at the Indian box office every week.

By its eighth week, Hanuman Ansh had crossed the Rs 300-crore mark in India, a milestone achieved by fewer than 25 Hindi films before it. The film also continued its theatrical run for over 80 days, making it a notable box office success. It went on to surpass the lifetime collections of several pan-India releases, including Vijay's Jana Nayagan (Rs 324 crore), Yash's Toxic (Rs 341 crore) and Ram Charan's Peddi (Rs 342 crore).

For those who don't know why the OTT release has been delayed, it's because of Hanuman Ansh's extended theatrical run.

According to a report by Esquire India, producer Ragini Sona has addressed the questions surrounding the film's OTT release in her interview with The Indian Express. Streaming platforms have reportedly approached the makers with offers, but no deal or premiere date has been publicly confirmed.
