Bhuvan Atluri, MktYard CEO, is a cricket enthusiast. In an interview with ET Panache he revealed his favourite cricket moments.

Favourite World Cup memory
“The India vs Pakistan match from the 2003 World Cup is my favourite memory. Pakistan scored 273, and I had given up on India winning the match, especially since they had the deadly bowling trio of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar. “I actually went outside during the innings break when Sachin and Sehwag started their onslaught. Hearing loud cheers from across the neighbourhood, I ran back in and sat glued to the television till the end of the match. “And what a chase it was. Everyone chipped in, we had some heavy hitting, sensible batting and an India victory.”

World Cup prediction
“Australia have peaked at the right time; they are the most dominant team in world cricket, and can come back from the brink of defeat to surprise even the most competent opponent. Australia are still a force to be reckoned with.”

Favourite cricket memorabilia
“During the 1996 and 1999 World Cups, player cards were all the rage. I remember collecting different sets of cards and memorising all the players’ statistics. It gives me great joy to look at them even today, and they take me back in time.”
