The movie brings back several popular characters from the Mirzapur franchise, including Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit and Munna Tripathi. Directed by Gurmeet Singh, the film expands the world of the hit Prime Video series with a story set within the timeline of its first season.

According to Sacnilk, Mirzapur The Movie earned Rs 13.25 crore net in India on Day 10, with the film being screened across 7,225 shows. Its total India net collection stood at Rs 184.70 crore, while the domestic gross had reached Rs 220.04 crore.The film also continued to perform well in overseas markets. It added Rs 4 crore gross from international territories, taking its overseas total to Rs 46 crore. With this, the worldwide gross collection stood at Rs 266.04 crore.
The film recorded an overall occupancy of 45.53% on Day 10. Morning shows had 19.92% occupancy, while afternoon screenings saw 53%. Evening shows performed the best at 57.15%, followed by night shows at 45.46%.
The numbers indicate that the film has managed to retain audience interest even after its first week. Its second-weekend performance has also given it a strong base going into the weekdays.
