Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi have expanded their family once again. The couple, who became parents for the first time last year, have welcomed their second child. The latest addition to their family is a baby boy.

The couple shared the news with their fans through a joint Instagram post today morning (September 18). The couple also gave fans their first glimpse of their newborn son in a sweet family photograph. The news came after PEOPLE reported, citing a source close to the couple, that they had welcomed their second child through adoption.

Millie captioned the photograph simply, “hi little guy!” The post marked the couple's public introduction of their second child, although they have continued to keep details about their children's lives private.

The announcement followed reports earlier in the day about the couple's second adoption. PEOPLE reported that a source had confirmed the adoption, while representatives for Brown and Bongiovi had not publicly commented at the time. The couple later confirmed the arrival of their baby boy themselves through their joint social media post.

Millie has spoken about adoption since childhood

Brown has previously spoken openly about why adoption has always been meaningful to her. During an appearance on Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce in June 2026, the actress said adoption had been part of her childhood dreams.

She recalled that when she was around five or six years old, she would imagine that her baby dolls were adopted. Brown explained that adoption was something she had always imagined as part of her future.

At the same time, the actress made it clear that choosing adoption did not mean she had ruled out having biological children. She said she hoped that having children herself could also be part of her future one day. Brown described adoption as an expression of love and said she viewed it as something permanent.

The couple's first experience with parenthood also came through adoption. Brown announced in August 2025 that she and Bongiovi had welcomed their first child, a daughter. At the time, she said they were beginning a new chapter of parenthood and wanted to do so with peace and privacy.



Before officially introducing their son, Millie appeared to have given fans a small clue about the family's latest addition.

On September 7, the actress shared a video from a family holiday in Italy's Dolomites. Brown was seen carrying her daughter, while Bongiovi appeared to be carrying another baby in a carrier. The child's face was not visible, leaving fans to speculate that the couple's family had grown. PEOPLE later reported that the video showed the couple with their two children.

The couple have generally avoided putting their children's private lives in the spotlight. They have not publicly revealed their daughter's name or shown her face, and their latest photograph also gives only a limited glimpse of their son.

For the unversed, the couple's relationship began in 2021, and they got engaged in 2023. They married in a private ceremony in the Hamptons in 2024 and later celebrated with a larger wedding ceremony in Italy.

Now, more than a year after becoming parents for the first time, Brown and Bongiovi are a family of four.
