What He Steers Clear Of
The actor said that he stays away from a few foods, such as alcohol and tobacco. He said he had been alcohol-free and a non-smoker for 25 years. He also avoids processed foods, refined foods, and packaged foods. He ensures his plate consists of fresh, clean, home-cooked food.He also emphasised having a proper sleep cycle, being active, and not overeating.
In a chat with the Times of India, he said that his day begins with water, fruits and nuts. His meals mainly consist of dal, vegetable curry along with roti or rice, along with a spoonful of ghee.
His Fitness Regimen
Soman also revealed he had never gone to the gym. In the interview with TOI, he revealed he exercises regularly for only 10-15 minutes and does not use equipment.His Instagram account frequently posts images and videos showcasing his active lifestyle, which includes long-distance cycling and marathons. For Soman, being outside and exercising goes beyond just staying in shape; it's a means of experiencing nature and pushing his physical limits. He disclosed that over the course of a week, he usually runs or bikes 60 to 70 kilometres.
In addition to these outdoor pursuits, he maintains a daily regimen focused on core-strengthening body-weight workouts. He believes that exercises like planks, push-ups, and pull-ups are adequate for preserving strength and health. Additionally, Soman has often posted pictures of himself doing weighted pull-ups, showcasing the severity of his strength-training regimen.
