Mi 11X sale begins today; Amazon, HDFC offer interesting discounts

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Mi India's latest flagship device, Mi 11X, began its sale on Tuesday.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip, the Mi 11X is available in 6GB +128GB and 8GB +128GB variants at Rs 29,999 and Rs 31,999 respectively.

The device that was launched on Friday is now available on Amazon, mi.com and other retail outlets.


Amazon is offering Rs 3,000-4,000 discounts on the most affordable device from the Mi 11X series. Interested buyers can get Mi Band 5 at Rs 500 with the purchase of the smartphone. On purchases made using HDFC Bank credit or debit card, customers can get an instant cashback of Rs 3,500-Rs 2.500.


The mid-range 6.67-inch device with AMOLED DotDisplay and 120Hz refresh rate is available in three colours: Cosmic Black, Lunar White and Magic Celestial Silver.

It sports a triple-rear camera set-up (48MP main camera + 8MP ultra-wide camera + 5MP telemacro camera), and a 20 MP front camera for selfies.

The 5G smartphone comes with 4520mAh (typ) battery, and supports 33W fast charging. It has in-built side fingerprint sensor and AI Face Unlock features.

Mi 11X runs on MIUI 12, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Last week, the smartphone maker also launched the Pro- and Ultra-variant of Mi 11X.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, Mi 11X Pro will be available in two storage variants - 8GB +128GB (Rs 39,999) and 8GB + 256GB (Rs 41,999) - starting May 3. The Pro sibling will come in same colours as Mi 11X.


Mi 11 Ultra (5G) smartphone comes with world's first triple pro-grade camera set up (50MP+48MP+48MP), fastest 67W charging and Harmon Kardon speakers in India. Mi 11 Ultra (12GB +256GB) will be available in two colours variants - Cosmic Black and Cosmic White - at Rs 69,999.

The company also announced the launch of its new Mi QLED TV 75 for about Rs 1.2 lakh which will be available from Tuesday.



The 'Superphone' Mi 11 Ultra also offers a secondary 1.1-inch inch AMOLED touch display display on the back, that acts as an always-on display to show the time, date and notifications.

The 'SuperPhone' with quad curved 6.81-inch panel also houses the world's 1st smartphone camera with Dual Pixel Pro technology that allows much faster auto focus — both horizontally, as well as vertically, the company said in a statement. The pro-grade triple primary camera setup at the rear has a 50MP GN2 custom sensor co-developed with Samsung's ISOCELL division, a 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide sensor and a 48MP Sony IMX586 Periscope lens system with 5x optical zoom, which is also capable of 10x Hybrid and 120x Digital zoom.

While the triple primary camera setup brings the ability to shoot in 8K across lenses, it also brings in the ability to shoot Night mode content across lenses, the company said.

The Mi 11 Ultra comes with a 5,000mAh battery. The device claims full charge in 36 minutes with superfast 67W technology (available as both wired as well as wireless capabilities).

The device supports four different refresh rates: 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz.

The smartphone also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technology and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 'Victus', the most advanced protection on a smartphone yet. The device comes with IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
