Author Ira Trivedi slaps legal notice against Chetan Bhagat
A week after author Chetan Bhagat termed Ira Trivedi's #MeToo accusations against him as 'false' and released screenshots of his conversation with her, the 'The 10-Minute Yoga Solution' author has now issued a legal notice against him.

Talking to Mirror Now, Trivedi said that Bhagat had lied to his 12.3 million Twitter followers when he had responded to her allegations on October 15. In his tweet, Bhagat shared a screenshot of Trivedi's email that was signed off as 'Mis u kis u', and said “who kissed whom”.

Trivedi said that by his tweet, Bhagat was trying to imply that "I, an unmarried young woman, was trying to kiss him, a much older married man."

She added that she had 'shot off' the email in a hurry and the word 'kiss' was simply a figure of speech, but that Bhagat had used it to malign her reputation.

"He is maligning my reputation, and that is why I'm taking him to court," she said.

Earlier, Trivedi had shared her complete email exchange with the ‘2 States’ writer with 'The Quint'.
