Malaika Arora injured in a car accident, sister Amrita says the actress is getting better
The actress was returning to Mumbai from Pune when the incident took place.

Bollywood actress Malaika Arora, who met with a road accident, on Saturday afternoon, has been reportedly discharged from the Apollo Hospital. The actress was in Pune for a fashion event and was returning to Mumbai when her car met with an accident. Following the incident, the 48-year-old suffered minor injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
Malaika’s sister Amrita confirmed the incident to ETimes. "Malaika is now getting better. She will be kept under observation for some time," Amrita told ETimes.
News portal ANI confirmed the incident in a Tweet saying that the actress will be kept under observation and will be discharged on Sunday morning.
"Actor Malaika has minor injuries on her forehead; CT scan has turned out fine & she is currently okay. The actor will be kept under observation for the night & will be discharged in the morning tomorrow: Apollo Hospital," read the Tweet by ANI.

— ANI (@ANI) 1648917932000According to the police, a bus and two cars collided and one of them had hit Arora’s car. The actress was travelling with her driver and bodyguard. The police confirmed that the actress was taken to Mumbai by an MNS leader who was travelling in the same direction.
On the work front, Malaika currently appears as a judge on the dance reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer’. Besides a slew of cameos, Malaika has also produced a few Bollywood films.
