Dhoni recently won the bid for a 1971 Land Rover Series Station Wagon at an online action which was held by Big Boy Toyz.
It's no secret that the former Team India captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a machine nerd and loves everything that is a mechanical wonder. After all, he has an amazing collection of some of the most luxe and exquisite cars and bikes which he has bought over the years.
Now according to recently reports, the famed cricketer as added another vintage four-wheeler to his growing collection. Yes, Dhoni recently won the bid for a 1971 Land Rover Series Station Wagon at an online action which was held by Big Boy Toyz.
While the exact bidding amount isn't yet revealed, the vehicle is quite the catch. The Land Rover Series 3 Station Wagon that the cricketer bagged, sports a yellow and white dual-tone finish and is a rare vehicle.
It was among the most popular cars ever built by the British automaker in the Land Rover series. Given the craze for the famous vehicle, the automaker built over 440,000 units of the Series 3 Station Wagon between 1971 and 1985 itself.
During that time, customers had the option to buy the car from variety of engine variants such as 2.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and 3.5-litre V8.
Now that four-wheeler will make way into the cricketer's garage in Ranchi.
The former Team India skipper already owns some majestic beauties such as Porche 911, which is valued at around Rs 2.50 crore and classic Pontiac Firebird Trans Am which he added to his collection in 2020 for Rs 68 lakhs.
