Lisa Ray welcomes Sufi and Soleil, her twin daughters, born via surrogacy

The 46-year-old took to social media to share the news.

Actress and model Lisa Ray announced the birth of her twin daughters, Sufi and Soleil, via surrogacy.

Earlier, the 46-year-old had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma which cut her chances of conceiving. This was one of the reasons why she and her husband Jason Dehni turned to surrogacy.

The cancer survivor took to social media to share the good news. She wrote, “Stand back world: here comes Soufflé (Sufi plus Soleil) My girls know the future is female. Thank you for all your support and blessings.”

In her post, she wrote about how she opted for surrogacy and moved to Georgia for the same. Ray also talked about how much she looks forward to motherhood.
