HP's sleek and lightweight Elite Dragonfly PC comes to India at Rs 1,49,990

The tech-company claims that the new PC-cum-tablet is under one-kilogram and comes with a battery life of 24.5 hours.

2019 is about to come to an end and it’s raining tech, quite literally. From Apple to Google, several biggies have unveiled their flagship smartphones and gadgets this year. Coming to the forefront now with its ultralight, premium PC, is tech giant HP.

The new HP Elite Dragonfly PC is a lightweight gadget which, as the folks at HP say, ‘provides mobility beyond expectation’. Crafted for the modern workplace and keeping in mind the needs of working professionals, the PC weighs under 1 kilogram and gives the user a new level of freedom to those who are always on-the-go.

The PC is essentially a 13-inch business convertible with a battery life of 24.5 hours. It is powered by an optional 8th Gen Intel Core vPro Processor.


One of the most common issues that professionals are on-the-go face quite often is the lack of connectivity. You can now kiss connectivity woes goodbye as the Dragonfly PC comes with 4G LTE connection and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity which means that you can now work from almost anywhere.

The device has an ultra-quiet keyboard so rest assured, your co-workers won’t get bothered by typing sounds. It is also backlit for use in low light.

What’s more? The Dragonfly PC has an impressive screen to body ratio and a sleek, chic design with a durable, iridescent dragonfly finish. The device instantly transforms from a tablet to a PC.

Vickram Bedi, Senior Director, Personal Systems, HP India, said in a statement that Indian professionals are extremely mobile and require devices which are light, portable and always stay connected.

HP India’s Twitter handle also teased the product, in a series of tweets. “Our latest innovation is always ready to impress”, one of the tweets read.
