Latest South OTT releases of the week

Eko
Leading the pack this week is Eko, a Malayalam mystery thriller that starts streaming on Netflix from December 31, 2025. Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, the film stars Sandeep Pradeep and Biana Momin and unfolds in the remote hilly region of Kattukunnu near the Kerala–Karnataka border. The story revolves around an elderly woman living in isolation with only her caretaker for company. As secrets from her past begin to surface, the film slowly pulls viewers into a web of suspicion, where no character feels entirely trustworthy. The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 5 minutes.



Mowgli
Telugu viewers can look forward to Mowgli, a romantic action drama streaming on ETV Win from January 1. The film follows Murali, an orphan raised near the forest who dreams of becoming a police officer like his late father. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Jasmine, a deaf and mute dancer visiting the village with a film crew. What begins as a fragile love story soon turns intense as Murali is forced to protect Jasmine from a dangerous predator, pushing him into the wilderness.

Ithiri Neram
Releasing on SunNXT on December 31, Ithiri Neram is a Malayalam romantic drama starring Roshan Mathew and Zarin Shihab. Set over the course of a single night in Thiruvananthapuram, the film follows former college lovers who unexpectedly reconnect after years apart. Through long conversations and shared silences, the story explores unresolved feelings, missed chances and the quiet question of whether love deserves a second shot.

Love Beyond Wicket
For sports drama fans, Love Beyond Wicket arrives on JioHotstar on January 1, 2026. The film tells the story of Rangan, a man haunted by a failed cricketing career. When he gets a chance to coach a struggling academy team, the journey becomes one of redemption, second chances and rediscovering purpose through the dreams of young players.


Asmi
