Latest Malayalam OTT releases of the week
Pennu Case – Amazon Prime Video
The Malayalam comedy-drama Pennu Case has finally made its OTT debut on March 12, after its theatrical run earlier this year. The film stars Nikhila Vimal in the lead role and marks the directorial debut of Febin Sidharth.
The movie was released in theatres on January 10, 2026, where it received mixed reactions from critics and audiences. Inspired loosely by real-life incidents, Pennu Case mixes crime and comedy to tell an unusual story about deception, mistaken identity and unexpected twists.
Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi – ZEE5
Telugu comedy-drama Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (also known as BMW) arrives on ZEE5 on March 13. The film stars Ravi Teja, Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi in key roles. The movie is also dubbed in Malayalam.
The story revolves around Ram, a winemaker from Hyderabad who travels to Spain and secretly begins an affair while hiding the fact that he is already married. Things quickly spiral out of control when his Spanish lover unexpectedly arrives in Hyderabad. What follows is a series of comedic situations as Ram tries to manage both relationships without getting caught.
Made in Korea – Netflix
Adventure drama Made in Korea, directed by Ra. Karthik, premiered on Netflix on March 12. The film features Priyanka Arul Mohan along with Hye-jin, No Ho-jin and Rishikanth. The movie is also available to stream in 5 languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The story follows Shenbagam, fondly called Shenba, a young woman from a small town in Tamil Nadu who has been fascinated with Korean culture since childhood. Her long-time dream of visiting South Korea finally comes true, taking her to the bustling streets of Seoul. What begins as curiosity soon turns into a life-changing journey.
Sukran – Sun NXT
Malayalam film Sukran is set to stream on Sun NXT from March 13. The film stars Bibin George, Shine Tom Chacko and Chandhunadh.
The story follows a man struggling with heavy debt and emotional pressure. As he tries to deal with his problems, the narrative weaves together themes of friendship, love and difficult life choices. The film explores how every decision can have serious consequences.
Pennum Porattum – Netflix
