Popular Malayalam child actor Hari Murali reportedly passed away at the age of 27 at his home in Payyannur, Kerala. He rose to fame after appearing in the 2004 Malayalam film Rasikan, where his innocent dialogue delivery won the hearts of audiences. The sudden news of his death has shocked fans and members of the film industry.

According to Manorama Online, he was reportedly found dead at his residence in Annoor in Payyannur. His body was later taken to a nearby private hospital. Hari was the son of theatre and drama actor K. A. Murali and Prasanna, and the brother of actor Sree Murali.

Reports suggest that the actor was allegedly found hanging at his residence. However, officials are yet to confirm the exact cause of death. Authorities are expected to carry out further procedures before making an official statement. The tragic development has left many in the Malayalam entertainment industry saddened, as Hari had been part of several films during his childhood.

Over the years, Hari appeared in several films including Pattanathil Bhootham, Annan Thampi, Don, To Harihar Nagar and Pramughan. Though he later took a break from acting, he returned to the big screen in a supporting role as the younger brother of Prithviraj Sukumaran in Nadirshah’s film Amar Akbar Anthony.

Apart from acting, Hari also pursued studies in Visual Effects and Animation at an institute in Bengaluru. After completing his studies, he worked in the VFX field in Ernakulam.

Hari’s family has strong ties to the theatre and film world. His father, K. A. Murali, is a respected theatre artist known for his stage performances. Hari was also related to actor Babu Annoor, who appeared as Fahadh Faasil’s father in the film Oru Indian Pranaya Katha.
