Kriti Sanon quashes all 'baseless' rumours of dating Prabhas, calls it a wild story

There have been numerous rumours hinting at a relationship between Prabhas and Kriti Sanon.
The Internet has been rife with rumours that something is brewing between the ‘Adipurush’ pair Prabhas and Kriti Sanon. However, Sanon it seems has had enough of these alleged link-ups. The ‘Mimi’ actress recently took to Instagram to set things straight once and for all. On Tuesday she claimed in an Instagram story that the “rumours are absolutely baseless.”
There were already some blinds hinting at a possible relationship between the ‘Baahubali’ star and Sanon, however, it became the talk of the town when her ‘Bhediya’ co-star Varun Dhawan spilled the beans on their relationship while judging the dance reality show, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’. The ‘Judwaa 2’ star who is known to have foot-in-the-mouth syndrome said, "Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika Padukone ke saath." (Kriti’s name is not here, as it currently resides in someone’s heart. That man is not in Mumbai currently, he is shooting with Deepika Padukone)
Netizens believe this statement refers to Prabhas, as he is currently busy shooting his next movie, ‘Project K’ which also stars Deepika Padukone.
Sanon however has dismissed Dhawan’s claims and called him out for his antics. "It's neither Pyaar nor PR. Our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date-let me burst your bubble. The rumours are absolutely baseless," read Kriti Sanon's statement. On the work front, Sanon will next be seen in ‘Adipurush’. Directed by Om Raut, the movie revolves around Lord Ram’s quest to rescue his wife Sita from the clutches of Raavan, the king of Lanka. She will also star in the action-drama flick ‘Shehzada’ opposite Kartik Aaryan. This will be the second film starring her and Aaryan after the 2019 rom-com ‘Luka Chuppi’. She will also feature in ‘Ganpath’ opposite her ‘Heropanti’ co-star Tiger Shroff.
