Krishna Raj Kapoor remembered as graceful, dignified; tributes pour in on Twitter

Her son Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news, saying, "My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest...old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise."
The last rites will be performed at the Chembur crematorium.

Krishna Kapoor, the widow of the legendary Bollywood actor-film-maker RajKapoor, died on Monday in Mumbai. The 87-year-old who had married Raj Kapoor in May 1946, is survived by her sons Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, and daughters Ritu Nanda and Rima Kapoor-Jain.
Her death was announced by her eldest son, Randhir on Monday morning.
