The wedding bells are ringing as reports are making rounds that Kavya Maran and music composer Anirudh Ravichander are all set to get married in November. On Friday (October 16), Kavya’s parents invited Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to their daughter’s wedding reception. The couple are reportedly set to get married in November 2026, with reports suggesting that the ceremony could take place in Greece. However, neither Anirudh nor Kavya has officially announced the wedding.

Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Kavery Maran, met Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The couple invited the Telangana Chief Minister to the wedding reception of their daughter, Kavya Maran, and Anirudh Ravichander.

Revanth Reddy shared photographs and videos of the meeting on X, formerly Twitter.




In his post, he wrote, "Sun Group Chairman Shri Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Smt. Kavery Maran, met Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills and invited him to the wedding reception of their daughter, Kavya Maran.

The wedding reception of Kavya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander is scheduled to be held in Chennai on November 21."

His post has added to the ongoing speculation surrounding the reported wedding, although the couple and their representatives have not released an independent announcement.

According to a report by Valai Pechu, cited by Pinkvilla, Anirudh and Kavya are expected to marry in Greece on November 11. The report also mentioned a reception at a five-star hotel in Chennai on November 14. However, this date differs from the November 21 date mentioned in Revanth Reddy’s post.

As a result, the exact wedding schedule and reception arrangements remain unclear. Actor Thalapathy Vijay has reportedly been invited to the wedding, while reports suggest that invitations have been sent to other prominent guests. The guest list and the reported Greece ceremony have not been officially confirmed.

Anirudh Ravichander’s work front

Anirudh is among the prominent music composers working in Indian cinema, particularly in Tamil films. He rose to wider recognition with his debut composition for 3, which featured the popular song Why This Kolaveri Di. Since then, he has worked on films across several industries.

His recent projects include Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and starring Rajinikanth. The film also features SJ Suryah, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mithun Chakraborty and Yogi Babu, along with several reported cameo appearances.
