Jabra’s Elite 7 Active earbuds review: Light and easy buds for fitness freaks

Danish brand Jabra’s Elite 7 Active earbuds are available in Navy, Black and Mint hues and retail for Rs 14,999. They are sturdy, fit into a small charging case and sport a rubberised outer surface to wick away moisture.

They have been designed for the fitness minded. Despite being chunky, they feel light. The earbuds are recommended for light, indoor workouts.

They may fall off on strenuous physical activity outdoors, though their build quality and rubberised coating protect from damage in case of drops. The Elite 7 Active is best for listening to music at 320kbps at least. For rock or metal fans, these are passable earbuds if the file quality is above 320kbps.


For those into electronic, pop or Indian film music, the bass is balanced and the music enjoyable. YouTube playlists do not sound as well on the Elite 7 Active as tunes from streaming services providers. The earbuds can last a week on average if used for 30-45 minutes daily.

They can easily provide about 30 minutes of listening time after a 10-minute charge. The noise c a n - cellation works well, and a Jabra app can customise the listening experience. The Elite 7 Active is durable , light on the ears, fits securely and is great mainly for sof t and electronic music.
