The doodle shows a stadium that features a football, a referee whistle, two goal posts, a wind mill - surrounded by various buildings. When clicked on the doodle, it takes the user to Google's search age showing results for 'UEFA Euro 2020'.
The page will display the teams playing and live scores from the event.

The Europe-wide event will be played in front of limited crowds (16,000 fans) and with strict health restrictions in place. The event will kicks off with a match between Turkey and Italy in the largest sports facility in Rome: Stadio Olimpico.
Calling Euro 2020 a staple tournament for football fans worldwide since 1960, Google said that this year will make history as the tournament’s 51 matches will be held in host cities across Europe — a dozen in total - for the first time ever.
Munich aims to host a minimum of 14,500 fans - around 22 percent of the Allianz Arena's capacity, the lowest of the stadiums being used.
Google urged fans to tune in over the next month to find out the Euro 2020 champions who will take home this year’s Henri Delaunay trophy. "Best of luck to all the competing teams," the Googl Doodle website read.
