'It's the pasta and wine, guys': Kareena Kapoor Khan denies pregnancy rumours

Days after Kareena Kapoor Khan's picture sparked pregnancy rumours, the Bollywood diva took to Instagram to shut down the speculations in the most creative way possible.

She dropped an Instagram Story for her 9.4 million followers, and shared that it was the 'pasta and wine' from her Italy vacation. During the weekend, a picture of Bebo went viral where a shadow appeared like her baby bump. Speculations and excitement arose from there.

Refuting such rumours, the 41-year-old urged the fans to 'calm down' as she was not pregnant. She also quipped, "Saif says he has already contributed way too much to the population of our country."

The couple, fondly called Saifeena by their fans, tied the knot on October 16, 2012. They had a simple court marriage followed by an intimate wedding with close family and friends. They share two sons - Taimur (5) and Jehangir (1).

Ali Khan has two children - actress-daughter Sara (26) and son Ibrahim (21) - from his previous marriage with veteran actress Amrita Singh. Their marriage ended after 13 years of relationship in 2004.

Saif and Kareena are currently vacationing in Europe with their children. The Pataudis were in London for nearly a month before heading to Ponte Vecchio in Italy.

Bebo spent some time exploring the streets of Ponte Vecchio, while father-son duo Saif and Taimur enjoyed some pool time. Kareena was seen relishing some gelato with Tim Tim.

Kapoor Khan has on several occasions expressed her love for Italy. In 2020, when Italy was badly affected by the coronavirus outbreak, she posted a photo of herself and Saif standing right outside the famous Colleseum and wrote, "Amore, Italy. My love and I are praying for you all".

On the work front, the 'Jab We Met' star will be next seen in 'Laal Singh Chadha' opposite Aamir Khan. The film is slated to release on August 11.

Kapoor Khan recently wrapped up shooting for her OTT debut project helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film is based on the Japanese novel 'The Devotion of Suspect X', which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead roles.
