Athiya Shetty has a funny reaction to 'October wedding' rumours with KL Rahul

Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty - who was last seen in the 2019 film 'Motichoor Chaknachoor' alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui - has something important to say about her rumoured wedding to cricketer KL Rahul.
After several media reports claimed that the couple is planning to tie the knot in the next three months, the 29-year-old took to Instagram to share her reaction.
In her Instagram Story, she said that she hopes she gets an invitation to 'this' wedding that will take place in three months. "I hope I'm invited to this wedding that's taking place in 3 months, Lol," she quipped in her Insta Story.

Previously, the actress - who made her acting debut with Salman Khan's 'Hero' alongside Sooraj Pancholi in 2015 - had rubbished rumours that the two were planning to move in together in their new luxurious new apartment in Mumbai.
On the other hand, veteran actor Suniel Shetty denied all rumours about his daughter's wedding with the cricketer. When he was asked if the wedding preparations have started during a recent interview with a radio station, he replied, "No, nothing has been planned yet!"

In an earlier interview with ETimes, Shetty Sr said that he 'loves' Rahul and his daughter is responsible enough to make the decision when the time is right.
“She (Athiya) is my daughter, she will get married sometime. I would want my son (Ahan) to also get married, the sooner the better. It's their choice. As far as Rahul is concerned, I love the boy. And it is for them to decide what they want to do because times have changed... My blessings are always there for them," he was quoted as saying.
Athiya and Rahul have been dating for over 3 years. The couple made their relationship official in 2021 when the captain of Indian Premier League team Lucknow Super Giants wished his lady love on her birthday. However, the two have always been tight-lipped about their wedding publicly.
Time and again, the duo have shown their support for each other by attending public events. While Rahul attended the premiere of 'Tadap' (Ahan Shetty's debut movie), Athiya and her family cheered for the sportsperson during cricket matches.
