Virat Kohli's throwback post for former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni left Twitterati debating over the possibility of his retirement.
A few hours after skipper Virat Kohli's throwback post for former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni left Twitterati debating over the possibility of his retirement, MSD's wife Sakshi quashed the rumours on Instagram. Through a story, Mrs Dhoni said that 'It's called rumours', to reiterate that Captain Cool will not be taking leave from the pitch right now. Sakshi Dhoni confirmed through an Instagram story that her husband is not retiring.
However, what left Dhoni fans amused was the witty response of the Indian Premier League team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to the rumours of his retirement. While echoing a popular term from HBO original 'Game Of Thrones', CSK tweeted 'Not Today', confirming that Dhoni is still going to be in the game.
Not 7oday.

In the first season of the George RR Martin creation, this quote was used by Syrio Forel, sword master to Arya Stark, the youngest Stark daughter. When Arya is worried about her father, Syrio tells her, "There's only one God, and his name is Death. And there's only one thing we say to Death, 'Not today'."
Earlier on Thursday, Kohli shared a picture from a 2016 ICC World T20 match against Australia and called it an 'unforgettable match' as Captain Cool had made him run like it was a fitness test. This left MSD's fans wondering if Captain Cool has finally decided to call it quits.
Thankfully, they were all just rumours.
