Netflix has reportedly acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights to Irumudi. According to a report by 123Telugu, the streaming platform has reportedly paid around Rs 14 crore for the deal. The OTT agreement was said to have been finalised before the film's theatrical release, making it a significant non-theatrical deal for the Ravi Teja-starrer. However, the exact Netflix streaming date has not been announced yet.

Irumudi released in theatres on August 21 and has made an encouraging start at the domestic box office. The early response to the emotional action drama has been positive, with audiences showing strong interest in the film on its opening day.




According to Sacnilk, Irumudi collected an estimated Rs 14.80 crore in India net on Day 1. The film was screened across 2,673 shows and recorded an overall occupancy of 76.9%.

The film's India gross collection stood at approximately Rs 17.20 crore on its first day. It also performed well in overseas markets, where it earned around Rs 7 crore in gross collections.

Combining its domestic and international earnings, Irumudi recorded an estimated Rs 24.20 crore worldwide gross on Day 1. The opening numbers have given the film a strong start and could help it build momentum over the weekend.

The film's performance is particularly important for Ravi Teja, as Irumudi is being discussed as a possible comeback vehicle for the actor. A strong theatrical run could further add to the positive buzz surrounding the project.
