The film's occupancy improved considerably during the evening, reaching 64.33%. However, the strongest response came during the night shows, which registered an impressive 81.92% occupancy. The sharp increase through the day indicates that the movie benefited from the evening and night audiences.

With the Onam holiday period continuing, the film's performance over the weekend will be closely watched. A sustained response could help the movie strengthen its position at the box office.

Kerala remained the primary market for Bethlehem Kudumba Unit on Day 1. The film earned around Rs 4.40 crore in gross collections from the state, making it responsible for the majority of its domestic earnings.

Karnataka emerged as the second-biggest contributor, adding around Rs 60 lakh to the film's opening-day gross. Tamil Nadu contributed another Rs 20 lakh.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together accounted for approximately Rs 5 lakh, while the rest of India contributed another Rs 20 lakh. Together, these markets took the film's India gross collection to Rs 5.45 crore.

The strong night occupancy is particularly encouraging for the film, especially as it heads into the weekend. The response in Kerala will remain crucial for its overall theatrical run, given the Malayalam film's strong dependence on its home market.
