iPhone 15 Pro likely to feature under-display Face ID developed by Samsung: Reports
With biometric authentication hidden, the device will be a single slab of all-display glass.

This year the brand is likely to launch its iPhone 14 line-up, and there have been several speculations about its design, features, and camera upgrades. However, even before any official announcement about the iPhone 14 line-up, rumour mills are abuzz with reports about Apple’s future products including, the iPhone 15 line-up.
According to recent reports, Apple is all set to introduce under-display Face ID on the iPhone 15 Pro in 2023. And, it does not end there, reportedly the technology will be developed by Samsung.
Tech portal 9to5mac in its report said that Apple will be directing all its efforts towards creating an iPhone as a ‘single slab of glass’ with an all-display front. Installing biometric authentication beneath the screen will be a step towards this vision.
According to the report on the South Korean media platform The Elec, the new feature will be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro models. These models will use a new form of Samsung technology that will reportedly feature first on Samsung smartphones.
The news portal said that Samsung Display and OTI Lumionics are creating a new generation of UD cameras that will first feature n Galaxy Z Fold5 in 2023 and will later move on to Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro models that are likely to be launched in the fall of 2023.
