iPhone 14 Pro likely to feature new A16 Bionic chip, standard smartphones will retain A15

Even though the date for the official launch is yet to be known, frequent leaks and teases about the new devices from Apple is keeping tech enthusiasts on the edge.
The successor to the iPhone 13 line-up is expected to feature a slew of innovations. Be it the design or the efficiency of the smartphone, several leaks have been suggesting major upgrades in the upcoming line-up.
The latest report based on insights from noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo seems to suggest that the iPhone 14 Pro models will feature the latest A16 chip, while the regular iPhone 14 models may come with the existing A15 Bionic chip. Currently, the iPhone 13 line-up comes equipped with the A15 Bionic chips.
The analyst in a tweet shared that the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max will feature an A16 chip, while the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max will have the existing A15 Bionic chip.
