Gaurav Chopra says Dhoni is a great sportsman, but an even better leader.
Gaurav Chopra, CEO of IndiaLends, believes Mahendra Singh Dhoni has the ability to stay calm and excel under pressure. The top boss hopes to catch a glimpse of the cricketers during his England visit for the World Cup.

World Cup moment
“My favourite moment comes from the 2011 World Cup final, when Mahendra Singh Dhoni came out to bat ahead of Yuvraj Singh, who had been the player of the tournament and a miracle worker for Team India. The decision left everybody surprised, but what followed established Dhoni as among the greats of world cricket.”

Favourite cricketer

“MS Dhoni, for his ability to excel under pressure. He is calm and composed, which makes him a great sportsman and an even better leader. It shows what one can achieve with self-belief. As a captain, he ensures he stays till the very end to finish matches.”

Memorabilia
“While the 2009 T20 World Cup was taking place in England, I used to live in London, and went up to Nottingham for the India vs Ireland match. Coincidentally, I was staying in the same hotel as the Indian team. After India won the match, the team came back and interacted with guests in the lobby. Even today, the pictures I took get liked on my Facebook page.”
