All eyes were glued to TV screens last year when Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an appearance on ‘Man vs Wild’. The PM was seen in the jungles of the Jim Corbett National Park with British adventurer Bear Grylls. The episode went on to become the most watched in TV history. Come 2020, and it was megastar Rajinikanth’s turn to shoot with Grylls for a special episode of ‘Man vs Wild’. And as expected, Twitterverse exploded.

Now, it turns out, that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, too, will be seen taking on rocky terrain and wild jungles along with survivalist Grylls.

The actor was snapped arriving at the Mysore airport. Kumar will be the third Indian to feature on Grylls’s special show ‘Into the Wild with Bear Grylls’.

The ‘Housefull 4’ actor, much like Rajinikanth, will shoot for the episode in Bandipur Tiger Reserve, Karnataka.

Yesterday, Grylls had taken to social media to share a photograph with Rajinikanth. “After our episode with Prime Minister @NarendraModi of India helped create a bit of TV history, (3.6 billion impressions), superstar @Rajinikanth joins me next, as he makes his TV debut on our new show,” wrote Grylls.

Rajinikanth, too, thanked Grylls for an ‘unforgettable experience’.
