CHENNAI: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi, superstar Rajinikanth is all set to feature in an upcoming edition of ace adventurer Bear Grylls's 'Man vs Wild' show, for which the shooting has begun in Karnataka's Bandipur forest.
The top actor, along with the wanderer, known for his daredevilry in traversing and surviving in some of the most treacherous terrains in the world, have begun filming in the Bandipur woods, noted for its tiger reserve and biodiversity.
Superstar Rajinikanth sent out a tweet thanking Bear Grylls for the unforgettable experience.

The actor left on Monday to Mysore for the shoot and is expected to complete it soon and return to the city. Bear Grylls took to Twitter to share a photograph with the south superstar. Both Rajini and Grylls were all smiles as they posed for the picture.
"After our episode with Prime Minister @NarendraModi of India helped create a bit of TV history, (3.6 billion impressions), Bollywood superstar @Rajinikanth joins me next, as he makes his TV debut on our new show," wrote Grylls in the tweet.

Actor Rajinikanth has also suffered minor injuries on elbow in the process of shooting for the episode.

Saturday did not begin on a happy note for India. The world's largest democracy suffered a great loss when former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley passed away. The 66-year-old was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on August 9 after complaining of restlessness and palpitations. Over a period of almost two weeks, Jaitley was moved to the Intensive Care Unit and was also kept on life support system. The BJP veteran will be cremated at the Nigambodh Ghat, New Delhi, today.
The news of his demise witnessed tributes pouring in on social media where Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered him as a valued friend.
The former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader served in PM Modi's cabinet in the 16th Lok Sabha, however, after being diagnosed with kidney ailments, the veteran had to step away. As finance minister, Jaitley played an instrumental role in making India a $2 trillion economy with a reformed indirect tax structure and the Goods and Service Tax (GST).
