Inderjit Nikku's financial woes video goes viral, Diljit Dosanjh lends a helping hand to Punjabi singer in his next film

A video of famed Punjabi singer Inderjit Nikku that went viral on the Internet caught popular singer Diljit Dosanjh's attention on Thursday.

The singer-actor took to his Instagram Story to share a picture of Nikku, and showed his generous side.

Showing his love for the troubled singer, the 38-year-old offered Nikku to sing a song in his next film. "Meri next film jo v shoot kra ge asi... plz ek ghana sadey layi zarur (Please lend your voice whenever I shoot for my next film)."

Dosanjh also shared that Nikku inspired many youngsters to tie the turban and he was one of them. "Veere nu dekh ke pata ni kinney mundeya ne pagg banani start kiti jina chon ek mai v an. (Inspired by Nikku brother, many started tying the turban and I was one of them too).

Many other celebrities also offered support to Nikku.

Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh also shared an Instagram Story, and wrote, " We are with you Inderjit Nikku bhai."

Singer and performer Jasbir Jassi said that he considers himself to be a good friend of Nikku, out of many friends the troubled singer has made. "Asi humesha tere naal khade hain. (I will always stand with you.)"


In the video that went viral a couple of days ago, Nikku could be seen sharing the troubles he is facing with his health and work with a saint. He said that his health is deteriorating, he has massive debt and he has been under a lot of mental stress because he isn't getting any work in the industry.

After listening to his problems, when the young saint asked Nikku to sing a song before leaving, he couldn't hold his tears. The saint assured him that the Almighty will find a solution to all his problems soon.

The netizens were divided after the video went viral. While some criticised Nikku for reaching out to a saint to find a solution to his problems, others questioned his religious beliefs for visiting a Hindu saint.

Most fans were pained to see the Punjabi artist go through the mounting financial burden.

Nikku hasn't released a statement yet, but has been resharing people's Instagram Stories on his profile.
