IKEA opens in Namma Bengaluru, overjoyed netizens welcome Nagasandra store
The Swedish brand has unveiled its fourth retail store in India.

The store also boasts of one of the largest children’s play areas Smaland along with a bistro with a capacity for 1000 visitors. Residents of the bustling city welcomed the international retailer with open arms. Many were seen posting pictures from their visits to the store on their social media handles.
The launch of the much-awaited store came as a reason for joy for many from the city. Many of them took to Twitter to express their happiness at the launch of the store.
“Real-life adulting is when you get more excited about an IKEA outlet opening nearby than an H&M outlet,” tweeted one user, while another said called it his next travel destination in the city. The opening of the store witnessed people thronging in hundreds to witness the grandeur of the latest outlet.

"IKEA is growing in India and continues to be a strong market. The large projects take time due to multiple approvals. We will have more projects coming up in Bengaluru either through a lease model or by buying land and setting up our own facilities," she said.
