'I love you, Dad.' KK's daughter Taamara pens an emotional farewell note for her father

Taamara took to her official Instagram account to share details of her father's cremation.

The 53-year-old was performing at a concert on Tuesday organised by a college in Kolkata when he complained about "feeling heavy". The singer collapsed after reaching his hotel and was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away after delivering a memorable performance at the Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata.

A day after the singer's sudden demise which shocked the nation, his daughter Taamara penned an emotional note on social media to bid adieu to her father.

Taamara took to her official Instagram account to share details of her father's funeral along with a note. "Love you forever dad," she wrote along with a heart emoji.


The details of the post read: "You will be loved forever and fondly missed." Taamara's post also shared details of the 'antim darshan' that will be held between 10.30am to 12.30pm, while the 'antim yatra' will be held at 1pm at the Versova Hindu cemetery in Andheri.

KK's daughter is also a singer, composer and a producer.

KK died of a massive cardiac arrest. The post-mortem ruled out unnatural death and revealed that the singer had a chronic liver and a severe lung condition.

KK has recorded songs in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali. He is best known for his songs like 'Aankhon Mein Teri' from the movie 'Om Shanti Om', 'Khuda Jaane' and 'Tadap Tadap'.
