How to make Twitter safe again? 'Karthikeya 2' star Nikhil Siddhartha shares tips with Elon Musk, the 'complaint hotline operator'

Elon Musk’s Twitter acquisition and his tweeting-frenzy has caught the attention of the world. Ever since the USD 44 billion acquisition, the Tesla chief has been on a tweeting spree. From Twitter Blue subscription to a gamut of new features, Musk has been aggressively promoting the microblogging site via his incessant tweets.

All of his tweets have been triggering conversations all over the world, however, one of his latest tweets caught the attention of Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha, who recently rose to national fame following the release of blockbuster ‘Karthikeya 2’.

On Wednesday, Musk , who had earlier proclaimed himself as a 'complaint hotline operator' on the microblogging platform after taking control of the company, urged his followers to mention their queries.


The billionaire tweeted: “Complaint hotline operator online! Please mention your complaints below.” His tweet attracted over 265K likes, some 20K retweets, 3K quote tweets and thousands of comments from users around the world.
Siddhartha, too, was among the respondents to Musk’s tweet. The 37-year-old actor said in his response to the billionaire that ‘phone number’ or a ‘valid ID’ for every Twitter Account would curb fake or multiple accounts and bots. He went on to say that a simple one-minute verification will go a long way in making Twitter a genuine and safe platform.

“‘Phone Number’ or a ‘Valid ID’ for every Twitter Account would completely Eradicate Fake/Multiple Accounts and Bots. Simple one min verification process would go a long way in making Twitter an outstanding, Genuine and Safe platform,” wrote Siddhartha in his tweet.

Siddhartha’s comments come at a time when Musk has been receiving flak for his swift changes to Twitter - from abrupt layoffs to introduction of the Twitter blue subscription. The ‘Karthikeya 2’ actor's suggestion that 2-minute verification seems to be one of the sensible feedback to Musk’s sweeping changes to the micro-blogging platform.
