Kareena Kapoor Khan on ageing
Kareena Kapoor Khan recently sat for an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, where she talked about several topics related to films, body autonomy and self-acceptance. Ananya Panday and Malayalam actress Kalyani Priyadarshan were also a part of the conversation.
When asked to give her opinion on the evolving notion of beauty standards and ageing in the film industry, Kareena Kapoor Khan had the perfect response. She admitted that things might be changing in showbiz, more specifically, because she has been through the phase and has seen it all. To refresh your memory, Kareena once achieved a zero figure for her 2008 movie Tashan. The action-comedy, also starring Akshay Kumar, failed to make an impact at the box office, but Kareena stole the spotlight for her physical transformation.
Kareena Kapoor Khan projects
Cut to the present, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who put forward a terrific performance in director Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders, revealed that she went completely barefaced in the 2023 movie. The actress, who welcomed sons Taimur and Jeh with her husband-actor Saif Ali Khan, added that she turns a deaf ear to what people have to say. The Bollywood star, who would ring in her 46th birthday celebration this year in September, said that she feels and looks ‘amazing’.
In conclusion, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, ‘I am having a blast in my 40s. I am loving it. I'm sitting with Ananya and Kalyani, and we've all done some amazing work. I mean, who would have thought? How long are you going to run away from ageing?’ Workwise, she was last seen in the Netflix documentary Dining With The Kapoors, which premiered on November 21 last year. Up next, Kareena has been roped in for filmmaker Meghna Gulzar’s crime thriller Daayra, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran.
