How Greg Norman helped Hero Cycles boss Pankaj Munjal improve his swing

Golf was first a hobby for Munjal which later converted into his passion.

He’s the boss occupying the corner office by day, but come weekends, and Hero Cycles chairman Pankaj Munjal is looking for greener turf – the Delhi golf course. “Weekends are reserved for golf with my buddies,” Munjal said. Apart from using the sport as a stress buster, it makes for a great excuse to meet friends and discuss ideas too.

“I think golfing has also made me more resilient at work,” Munjal said. What started as a hobby for Munjal, soon became a passion and a few years ago, he found himself playing with golfing great Greg Norman and Tiger Woods in Florida. “Norman even helped me improve my swing. It was a surreal experience,” Munjal recalled.'
