Sharma, who shed 23 kg and reduced her waist size by a whopping 12 inches, shared on social media that her drastic weight loss was not possible without lifestyle changes.

A Look Into Ridhi’s Incredible Weight Loss Journey

Sharma recently opened up about her fitness journey, offering insights into the strategies that contributed to her weight loss, fat reduction, and overall well-being. In a social media post, she elaborated on the key elements of her routine, emphasizing that consistency and patience are crucial when striving for a healthier body.

As part of her daily habits, Sharma maintained an active lifestyle by ensuring she walked between 7,000 to 10,000 steps, particularly on days when she did not engage in intensive workouts. Her dietary approach revolved around consuming wholesome, home-cooked meals, prioritizing balanced nutrition. To enhance the effectiveness of her regimen, she completely eliminated processed foods and refined sugar, opting for nourishing alternatives.


Additionally, she stayed hydrated by drinking two to three liters of water every day, which supported digestion and overall bodily functions.

Understanding the significance of rest, Sharma ensured she got a minimum of seven to eight hours of sleep each night. Instead of following a rigidly restrictive diet, she adhered to the 80-20 rule—maintaining a nutritious diet 80% of the time while allowing herself occasional indulgences in moderation.

She highlighted the importance of perseverance, stressing that weight loss is a gradual process and requires dedication. According to her, visible changes typically emerge after two to three months of sustained effort, and she recommended progressively increasing workout intensity by incorporating heavier dumbbells.

Sharma followed a disciplined lifestyle, rising early in the morning and maintaining a consistent sleep schedule. Her workout routine included strength training sessions lasting approximately 40 minutes, which she credited with accelerating her metabolism and aiding in muscle toning. She underscored the role of protein-rich meals in promoting muscle recovery and sustaining energy levels throughout the day.

One of the most remarkable aspects of her transformation was the significant reduction in her waist size—from 38 inches to 26 inches. She attributed this achievement to a combination of structured exercise and mindful eating habits. For instance, she found that consuming dinner around 7 p.m., often consisting of sautéed vegetables paired with quinoa, helped curb late-night cravings and contributed to improved sleep quality.

Sharma also listed a few exercises that helped her lose weight such as plank twist, v cycles, leg drop.
