Though Smith has offered a public apology to Rock and the Academy, the incident is still being debated widely on the Internet.
The 94th Academy Awards had several historic moments, but the prestigious awards show will sadly go down in history for the controversial slapgate between Oscar-winner Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock, which occurred on live television.
It's been a few days since the award ceremony was held, however the noise between the slap row doesn't seem to be dying down. Though Smith has offered a public apology to Rock and the Academy, the incident is still being debated widely on the Internet.
From uproar against Smith, empathy towards his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's health disorder to memes, so far we have seen and heard it all ... or maybe not?! Because a new website has been launched where users can strike Chris Rock and test the speed of their slap. Yes, it exists for real.
The website has been created as a dig at Rock and the Oscars incident. The new website, www.slapchris.com, shows a palm emoji towards the left and Rock's face on the right side of the screen. Users have to move the palm towards Rock as fast as they can as they 'slap' the comedian by using their cursor to record their speed.
The speed of the slap is measured in km/h.
"The fastest slaps require the strongest Wills. Unleash your inner Slap Smith and see how fast you can slap Chris Rock," the website informs.

Meanwhile, Rock, in his first public comments since he was slapped in the face by Smith at the Oscars on Sunday, said he is "still processing" the incident that made headlines around the world. The comedian performed a stand-up show in Boston on Wednesday evening to a sold-out crowd, joking "how was your weekend?" before saying he did not plan to address the incident at length.
"I'm still processing what happened, so at some point I'll talk about that shit," Rock told the crowd. "It'll be serious. It'll be funny, but right now I'm going to tell some jokes."

At Sunday's awards, Rock was on stage to present the trophy for best documentary when he made a joke about Smith's wife, Jada, that referenced the 1997 film 'G.I. Jane' in which actress Demi Moore shaved her head.
Smith then strode onto the stage and slapped Rock before winning Best Actor for 'King Richard' less than an hour later.
