'Have some Amullu, Arjun!' Amul’s cute topical on ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ charms netizens

Even as Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's film 'Pushpa: The Rise' continues to roar at the box office, India's most popular dairy brand Amul paid a super cute tribute to the most happening film in recent times.

Amul's latest poster features caricatures of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the lead stars of the Telugu blockbuster. While Arjun is seen seated on a log of wood in a gait resembling his character Pushpa Raj, Mandanna is seen doing her signature move from the wildly popular track 'Saami Saami' from the film.

Amul in its characteristic wordplay wrote ‘PushPack The Slice’ and ‘Have some Amullu, Arjun!’ in its latest topical.

Earlier this week, the film clocked Rs 343 crore at the box office globally making it one of the biggest hit films of 2021. The film was released on December 17 and is running to packed houses. Despite the stronghold of Hollywood 'Spider-Man: No Way Home', 'Pushpa' continues to be a top grosser among Indian films.

'Pushpa: The Rise' chronicles the life of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler who aims to be the biggest name in the illegal trade.

Apart from Mandanna as the female lead, the movie also stars Malayalam sensation Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist. Faasil plays an IPS officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the movie which marks his debut in Telugu cinema.

The film directed by Sukumar will also have a sequel. 'Pushpa: The Rise' was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on January 7, while its Hindi version was released on January 14. The sequel of the film is expected to be released in theatres later this year in December.
