The supporting cast features several well-known names. John Lithgow will portray Albus Dumbledore, while Janet McTeer has been cast as Professor Minerva McGonagall. Nick Frost will appear as Rubeus Hagrid, and Paapa Essiedu will take on the complex role of Severus Snape. Additional cast members include Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley and Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch.

Adding to the excitement, Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer has joined the project to create a new musical score.
