Valathu Vashathe Kallan - Manorama Max, March 27
This Malayalam crime thriller stars Biju Menon and Joju George in the lead roles. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film follows Samuel Joseph, a father whose life spirals out of control after a personal tragedy. He turns to Circle Inspector Antony Xavier to investigate a complicated case that becomes more urgent as time runs out. Along with suspense, the story also touches upon themes of revenge and parenting. The makers officially announced that the movie will start streaming from March 27 on Manorama Max.
Kaattaan – JioHotstar, March 27
Headlined by Vijay Sethupathi, Kaattaan is an investigative Tamil series set in a remote village. The discovery of a severed head disrupts the quiet life of the villagers and revives a police station that was about to shut down due to inactivity. As officers begin probing the case, both the police and the local community become entangled in a mystery that gradually uncovers hidden truths.
Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani - ETV Win, March 26–27
This Telugu dark crime comedy stars Sivaji and centres on a seemingly ordinary middle-class family whose life turns chaotic after a police officer unexpectedly dies in their house. In an attempt to avoid trouble, the family tries to dispose of the body, leading to a chain of comedic yet tense situations.
Thaai Kizhavi - JioHotstar, March 26
Tamil rural comedy Thaai Kizhavi features veteran actor Radikaa Sarathkumar in the lead role of Pavunuthaayi, a fearless 70-year-old moneylender who commands respect in her village. Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, the film mixes humour with a message on women’s independence and resilience, portraying an elderly woman who refuses to conform to societal expectations.
