Hanuman Ansh box office collection day 49: Neem Karoli Baba's hit film stays steady amid The Paradise release, inches towards Rs 400 crore mark globally

Hanuman Ansh is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. Amid new releases like Nani's The Paradise, the film maintained its momentum and is all set to cross Rs 400 crore mark globally. Directed and written by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film is based on the life of revered spiritual figure Baba Neem Karoli. Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand government has decided to make Hanuman Ansh tax-free in the state. The report further added that the government will reimburse the State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) levied on tickets at cinemas and multiplexes.

Hanuman Ansh box office collection worldwide

According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, on day 49, Vishal Chaturvedi's directorial venture minted Rs 3.65 crore in India across 6,729 shows. This brings total gross collections to Rs 340.55 Cr and total India net collections to Rs 288.33 crore.

Moreover, Hanuman Ansh earned Rs 0.75 crore worldwide, and now the total collection stands at Rs 377.05 crore. The movie is steadily inching towards Rs 400 crore mark globally and breaking new records at the box office.




Earlier, recalling the production challenges, producer Anupriya Nagar told ANI, "Three women have produced this film, and I am the youngest. I joined during post-production. The team told me that the film had been made, but they did not have the funds for post-production. I put all my savings into this film because I felt a strong emotional connection to it. It is a very emotional project for me. Maharaji (Neem Karoli Baba) inspired so many foreigners, such as Larry Brilliant and Steve Jobs, but very few people in India know about Maharaj Ji. I want people to know his life story and visit his ashram."

Hanuman Ansh is a biographical film written, directed and produced by Vishal Chaturvedi. It is based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, which tells the story of Neem Karoli Baba.



The film follows Lakshmi Narayan, a young man living in pre-Independence India. After losing his mother, he leaves home in search of God and travels across northern India. His journey eventually leads him to become Neem Karoli Baba.

Shobhinaw Satyaa plays Lakshmi Narayan Sharma, who later becomes Neem Karoli Baba. Chandan K Anand plays Ram Nandan Bhosale, while Nikhil Dubey, Anil Rastogi and Sugandha Malhotra appear as Sudhir, Mahant Ji and Sudhi, respectively. Bhagvandas Patel plays Gopal and Neha Paranjpe plays Parvati.
