'Grow up, guys ... move on!' Samantha Prabhu reacts to Naga Chaitanya & Shobita Dhulipala dating rumours

Hours after reports of Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya dating 'Major' star Sobhita Dhulipala came to light, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu reacted on social media.

The 34-year-old expressed disappointment in a news report that claimed that Chaitanya fans have lashed out at her public relations (PR) team. As per the gossip column, dating rumours surrounding the 'Laal Singh Chaddha' were circulated by Prabhu's PR team.

Quote-tweeting a post by a gossip column, the actress urged media outlets to 'grow up' and 'move on'. She said that the separated couple have moved on, and now it was time for them to do the same.


"Rumours on girl - Must be true! Rumours on boy - Planted by a girl! Grow up, guys... The parties involved have clearly moved on... you should move on too! Concentrate on your work… on your families... move on," her post read.


Last year, the actress had released a statement responding to "false rumours and stories" being spread in the media against her. She said that divorce is 'an extremely painful process', but the 'relentless personal attacks' have made it more difficult.

"They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist and now that I have had abortions. A divorce in itself is an extremely painful process. Let alone allowing me the time to heal. This attack on me personally, has been relentless. But I promise you this, I will never allow this or anything else they say, break me," she had written in her post.

According to a Pinkvilla source, Chaitanya has been dating the 'Made in Heaven' actress for a couple of weeks after his divorce from Prabhu.

It was reported that Chaitanya invited Dhulipala to his new home in the Jubilee Hills neighbourhood of Hyderabad, which is now under construction. He gave his lady love a tour of the house and left the premises together in the same car. The duo seemed comfortable in each other's company. However, this wasn't the first time they were spotted together.

Soon after the reports, social media was abuzz. Many Prabhu fans have been speculating that the love affair might have been the reason for their split. However, Chaitanya's admirers insist that the relationship blossomed much later.

Prabhu and Chaitanya announced their separation in a joint statement on social media in October 2021, days before their 4th wedding anniversary.
